Illegal immigrants taking help of scams to get tax refunds

The immigrants are scamming the refunds by claiming additional child tax credit. They are filing their tax returns showing unbelievable number of dependents; say around 10 or more nieces and nephews who are not even staying with them in country. By this they are pulling out huge amounts from the government. Recently it has been calculated that around 2 million of illegal immigrants have claimed for as much of staggering 4 billion dollars as tax refund.
